Similar to 18 fairway at LACC, the landing area near the green on 16 at Shinnecock is far too wide. Whinedam hit his patented 50 yd slice and now has 5 ft for eagle. Smh. What happened to the game I love.

The community of golf has spiraled out of control in the last 12-18 months. I can’t even put into words the implosion of the game. Influencers, content creators, celebrities, clothing brands, etc have wrapped their leathery lifeless claws around our sport and have killed it.
