📢 Yesterday, there was an unfortunate exploit in the @Era_Lend contract resulting in a loss 😔. Our hearts go out to the affected users. However, we're optimistic that @Era_Lend team will bounce back & recover the lost funds soon, minimizing the impact on users .

👨‍💻Roughly speaking, the exploit was caused by a price oracle manipulation, specifically using outdated price data from SyncSwap LP pools. This highlights the importance of avoiding cross-contract issues when handling information from external sources.

🛡️ Don't worry! zkSwap Finance contracts are completely safe & secure.

🙋‍♀️Likewise, Syncswap mainnet contracts are secure. The Eralend attack was due to an implementation issue with Eralend contracts, as explained above.

💪 Our contracts even do not have these callbacks in Syncswap mainnet contracts which many people mentioned when talked about Eralend exploit.

✅FYI, zkSwap contracts were forked from SyncSwap but we took extra precautions and chose their UniswapV2-forked version then refine it instead of the mainnet ones. This decision is driven by the fact that this chosen (Uniswapv2) version inherits a lot from battle-tested UniswapV2 & do not combine normal-swap & stable-swap into one router contract. We love simplicity & aim to minimize the risk of human error. 🛡️🛡️
