Wow! Today, while browsing books in a used bookstore, I stumbled upon this stunning Cruz-Diez photo book.
It contains images from 1951 depicting the Venezuelan festival “Dancing Devils of Yare.”
Seeing these images in today's context and learning about the meaning behind it really moved me in a way that is hard to describe.
Did you know about this tradition?
I added a Grok description in the comments if you’re interested.
Photographs by Carlos Cruz-Diez
Book: Cruz-Diez en Blanco y Negro
And now Cape Fear produced by Scorsese and Spielberg debuted as well and it’s a banger!🔥
Apple is knocking it out of the park, always has… people are only just realizing it now.
Sad that some of their earlier work, didn’t get the exposure that they deserved because the people didn’t have their attention on AppleTV yet.
If for example Servant would release today. It would probably make much more of a splash than it did…
Thank you for the quick reply!
I only use https://t.co/cX7Zdh0Oeq on desktop. But I only see the four sidebar items in the screenshot.
I'm also on the newest iOS App version.
But yes, love your under the hood commitment. It's nice to see everything coming together with Grok build and so on.
Seeing all of this makes it easier to wait patiently. Just looking forward to a more coherent and powerful UI/UX on top of the stunning, future oriented tech underneath😊
@xai@grok Still kind of the same situation. Love the work you're doing!
But I'm a supergrok user and somehow I can't access the tasks section anymore on desktop/browser and from the iPhone App I can't access the projects section anymore.
One year ago when this happened I kind of understood, everything was new and so on. But now that Grok is the idea/problem solving hub for all my projects it's kind of annoying tbh.
And still no Mac app... I got used to it, but still would be nice.
As I said. Still love it! Love the "actually improving the product" approach, instead of just making the user feel as if it is good.
But I think it would be nice to see a short burst of user experience effort soon.
I love that @xai is trying a different approach and I understand that it's a matter of focus atm, but I really hope they don't forget about usability features and the user experience of @grok in general🙏
Outcome is just such a needed movie these days. Not just because of the messages it communicates.
But it’s a small story, zooming into the human experiences and emotions we all share.
Not a fancy thing trying to be too much. Just a “simple” happy end. No twist no hooks, nothing.
No big sets or effects, just excellent actors, great writing and directing.
We need these reminders of what the initial magic of moving images with synced audio was. Simply being able to capture and communicate human experiences.
A masterpiece ✨👌

Your Friends & Neighbors digs so deep into each layer of the human experience, that it makes you relate to superrich people with whom you seemingly have nothing in common.
It’s a masterpiece✨ Excellent writing and acting👌
Not everything said has to be new. Which is something I love about many of the Apple TV shows. It’s not always about plot twists, hooks, reveals, tension, sometimes it’s just about life. All aspects and layers of it.
But yes, if this episode didn’t bring water to your eyes or a smile of some sort on your face, I assume we just watch shows in a different way.
