@KendallHarmon6 And it is hard to have a conversation or relationship when there is an institutional failure to see that the numerous scandals make it harder for people to blindly trust the process. I think greater transparency (where possible and within reason) would also help a lot.
@williambout ah bummer! but understandable. If I could develop worth a damn I'd offer to take it over but uh... lol
I'll use it until it absolutely quits functioning haha
@williambout hey there! Are you still working on Emulsion? It’s still my film log utility of choice, but it’s been misbehaving on iOS for a while now, plus I’d love to see a few new film stocks added. It’s my absolute favorite film utility, iOS bugs not withstanding.
@somuchunfortune it's wild how many things seem to have truly flown out the window in the past decade. I know, I know... nothing new under the sun. But companies are just so... brash about how terrible they've become?
it's really neat though, the interior is a super industrial feel so there's no acoustic dampening at all, and people bring their dogs in even though that's not permitted
@somuchunfortune yoooo check out this absolutely brutal "addition" in this zillow post. Bonus points for where they photoshop out an electrical outlet in said addition but forgot to remove the original photo.

Sony buys Bungie
"Hey, maybe it'll get some more funding, maybe we can expand the universe, tell some more stories, etc"
Sony: "hey, we own Bungie and we also have some underperforming 'films' at the box office... I wonder..."🙃
@ryancerbus woof. That whole piece is so poorly written (the first three paragraphs say... nothing?) and then that laundry list of "concerns" is pretty vapid on the whole. I can agree with the "unity over fidelity" bit, but a competent editor should have canned the whole piece
@joshgans@benthompson no, the second generation model arrived roughly 9 months after the first and that was the one that worked with Windows (though iTunes took another year).
Famously, Steve had to be convinced to bring it to Windows at all and that's when the iPod really took off.
