@20KREAM22@OxReactive Don’t know why you two idiots are giggling. Did you even watch vid or read my comments. At around 4 and 9 minutes he talks about how they are centralized and he talks about abstraction. You guys don’t even know what you have money in. They are working towards decentralization.
@Garcia_Capital@MisterSatan999@sardar79577060 You definitely aren’t comparing apples to apples. I like your enthusiasm for react but not sure why you compare Link. Link is a major contributor to why the market has grown to the size it is. 16-19 was a completely different market with much less development/capital/certainty.
@Garcia_Capital@MisterSatan999@sardar79577060 Sergey has been working with SWIFT since 2016, before it was even created. It has systematically created a stack of products that allow legacy systems and blockchains to easily integrate in a seamless way. Link is the standard for DeFi and institutions. React is nowhere close.
@MisterSatan999@Garcia_Capital@sardar79577060 To be institutionally compliant at the base layer today, Reactive would need to introduce centralization and control that would undermine the autonomy and determinism that justify its existence. Institutional compatibility must therefore be achieved through abstraction.
@Garcia_Capital@sardar79577060 Reactive is definitely a useful technology and solves a problem. I just don’t see it scaling as large as chainlink due to institutional compliance. Definitely has a huge potential for growth with its current market cap.
@Garcia_Capital@sardar79577060 Reactivity is not the same as trust. Chainlink sells trust at scale. REACT sells elegance and speed. Institutions care deeply about:
Who is accountable? What fails under adversarial conditions?
What happens during chain halts, reorgs, or forks?
@Garcia_Capital@sardar79577060 Chainlink serves on chain and off chain events. Chainlink and Reactive essentially trigger smart contracts in different ways. Reactive can only trigger on chain events unlike Chainlink. Chainlink has the fundamentals for institutional use and compliance.
@Garcia_Capital@sardar79577060 This is incorrect. Chainlink’s products solve many off/on chain issues. Chainlink’s oracle network allows real world data to trigger smart contracts. CCIP solves blockchain fragmentation and allows on and off chain data to interact in a seamless way.
@angrycryptoshow Ripple would benefit from the bill in current form over retail investors. Ripple going through the process of becoming essentially a bank, would obviously make them more inclined to support the bill. They would reap the same benefits of the banks trying to pass the bill.
@someguy117412@digitalassetbuy Chainlink is THE infrastructure that allows true adoption. As I stated, xrp maybe be used to an extent, but it’s just another blockchain. JPYC, the regulated yen pegged stable, runs on multiple chains. Ethereum, avalanche, polygon are all used. Chainlink is the standard
