He has yet to be officially declared but I felt that you all needed to know. His brain is too damaged to have any chance. Right now it’s a matter of keeping the body alive. He will be missed by so so many. And I will miss him so much. It will be a few days still.

Yesterday evening, Taylor coughed, resulting in swelling & midline shift. The pressure went to his brain stem and we have yet to know the extent of it. Today, about 1 pm, Taylor was put into a medically induced coma to give him the best chance at survival. Keep thinking of him 💜

My best friend, Taylor Chavez, was in a car accident this past Friday. He was hit by a drunk driver and suffered a brain injury. He is on life support and a ventilator. Today we finally found brain activity. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
