Compressing and compositing information as well as replacing words with visuals was a huge hit fulfilling challenge

Filmed by D.A. Pennebaker on four rolls of 16mm Kodachrome film over 3 days in New York City. The footage sat in his closet for 5 years before he figured out how to edit it and make a projection print. Music by Duke Ellington.
