@Hayd@Hayden_Backlund is the new NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion! Backlund won the vacated title yesterday on 𝙉𝙒𝘼 𝙋𝙊𝙒𝙀𝙍𝙍𝙍, defeating @RichardAdoniss, @InvincibleWill7 Damian Fenrir, and @AxtonRay96 in a wild NWA 78 fatal four-way.

The championship was declared vacant earlier in the episode, simulcast on Comet and CHARGE! Citing behaviors “unbecoming of a champion,” namely relating to The F.O.C.’s post-match attack on @thebryanidol’s mother two weeks ago on 𝙉𝙒𝘼 𝙋𝙊𝙒𝙀𝙍𝙍𝙍, NWA President William Patrick @Billy Corgan stripped The F.O.C.’s “Submission Suplex Machine” @sladewrestler of the belt.

Signed to a contract earlier this year, this is Backlund’s first championship in the National Wrestling Alliance.
