Kinda wild Norway just own their evil rape and pillage culture as cute rowing… yet Brits are constantly made to feel bad for giving half the world their civil services, judiciaries, education, railways and postal services etc.
The NHS is our proudest achievement.
It’s always been there for my family. I’m proud this Labour government is making it fit for the future.
Happy birthday, NHS.

@ThePersecutdOne@Dyna_Morph@bphillipsonMP Urgh think I’d rather bang my head in a brick wall than respond any more so I won’t. But how tf is it unfair that a private tenant pays council tax?
Do you just want everything given to you by those more successful?
That people are punished for not relying on the State sector for their educational needs is utterly ludicrous frankly. It’s a legal requirement to have your child in school. By sending your child private you’re saving the taxpayer money. Sooner @bphillipsonMP is out the better.
Your daily reminder that in Germany if you send your children to private school, you can claim 30% of the tuition fees, capped at €5,000 per annum, per child as a tax deduction. Meanwhile Britain has become a country which punishes people for going private
@ThePersecutdOne@Dyna_Morph@bphillipsonMP In fact the service they fund through their taxes ALSO pays for even greater support for lower income households anyway. See pupil premium and FSM and free school trips etc etc
@ThePersecutdOne@Dyna_Morph@bphillipsonMP Yes - that’s why they pay general taxation. But you and I don’t pay any more tax than them (in fact probably less) and my kids ALSO use a state primary school. Yet those who can afford private, pay that, don’t receive the service directly and are then axed again. It’s unfair
If you’re questioning why Sandro Tonali is leaving NUFC for more cash in London don’t forget this is the guy who left AC Milan his boyhood club for more money and us. It’s football. We’ve got a brilliant deal for him. He’s been pants for ages anyway. So best wishes #NUFC
@ThePersecutdOne@Dyna_Morph@bphillipsonMP 2/2 They’re already paying through their general taxes to support a school system that their children aren’t even relying on. It’s totally absurd, ridiculous and outrageous.
@ThePersecutdOne@bphillipsonMP What extraordinary privilege are you referring to? You’re legally required to have your child educated and unless you reckon we should all have our kids at home don’t be so pedantic. You knew what I meant.
Bridget Phillipson cut support for maths, Latin, computing, and physics, and increased tuition fees for students. But SOMEHOW she has loads to spend on social media "influencers"
Well who wudda thunk it?! The Starmer-Reeves defence spending plan assumes £10 billion in defence ‘efficiencies’/savings — and leaves Andy Burnham to find a further £5 billion for defence in the next Budget for the figures to add up. Starmer-Reeves — shysters til the very end.
@Sum1st@bphillipsonMP We didn’t need intervention. The consistent, material and measurable improvement in English schools (one of the only successes under the Tories) was better left alone. But Labour can’t help themselves. Always think they know best. Why not intervene when we can?
