Netflix’s film boss says “there’s a group of filmmakers who still want theatrical” that they’ve “accepted we just won’t work with.”

“One mistake I made when I first joined the company,” Dan Lin told the Times, “was that filmmakers always said to me, ‘Please tell me the truth.’ And when I told them the truth, they might not have wanted to hear it.
