This has been the World Cup of stars carrying their teams.
Our alleged star got kicked in the calf, missed a game and a half, made almost zero impact outside of the first half of the first game, and then begged out in the biggest game of his career.
So utterly disappointing.
Every dollar Elon Musk has made is traceable. Every product sold, every service rendered, every government contract awarded, every share of stock bought or sold. It’s all on the record.
You, on the other hand, haven’t built a company, invented a product, or created anything people willingly pay for. You’ve spent the last 14 years collecting a $174,000 Senate salary.
Yet somehow you managed to buy a luxury D.C. condo, a $4 million Victorian mansion in Cambridge, and saw your net worth balloon by 150% to $12 million. Everyone knows where Musk’s money came from. The same can’t be said for yours.
So much for "no kings", right?
CA Governor Newsom was asked about the possibility of ending up with two Republican candidates for governor and no Democrats. His response?
"We all have agencies. We can shape the future… I don’t anticipate this need to be the case, but there is a ‘break the glass scenario.’
There’s many people that have a deep understanding of what it would look like if Democrats were locked out, and we’re going to do everything to make sure that doesn’t happen. I’ll leave it there.”
This is the guy who claims Republicans are a "threat to democracy". Let that sink in.
REPOST this absolutely everywhere.

I’m a “Ben Shapiro conservative.” I accept that I’m part of a dying generation of conservatives, and I lament it because I know what’s rising in its stead.
It’s a radical and revolutionary reactionary force that you helped create through years of demonizing and dispossessing white men. From making them scared and desperate. From trying—and often succeeding—in destroying the most milquetoast of conservatives for daring to question your Woke orthodoxy.
I was one of those casualties. It cost me everything as a teacher and I’m still a pariah amongst the Leftist ideologues that run our schools—unemployable in public education.
I have every reason to hate people like you—and perhaps if I possessed a different temperament I’d be part of the new revolutionary Right.
But I’m not, because I know that the polemic wars of the far Left against the new far Right will do to this country that I love.
And I should warn you against reveling in Ben’s diminishing audience, because what is replacing it frightens me, and it should utterly terrify you.
You’re going to reap what you sowed, and one day, you’ll pray for the return of conservatives like Ben,
@TheDunkCentral No one persons fault. Dray plead for KD to come in 2016, naturally that would take offense from him. So is it Kerr, KD, or Drays own fault?
He’s right about it changing his career tho. Drays offense pre-2016 was much different tho. He was a better scorer.
@peptw@HustleBitch_ Simply put almost any body damage to the car will result in a salvage because insurers will be concerned about the battery after a hit. I know someone on here buys exclusively salvage Teslas for cheap, fix them up and will drive them for years.
Of course, at your own risk.
Hello @TomSteyer,
California gas prices are “outrageous” — we agree. It is unfortunate that our customers are not only paying high prices for gasoline but even more to just to feed the voracious appetite of a bloated state bureaucracy.
But let’s stick to the data instead of the usual Sacramento script.
As of April 2026:
• CA average: ~$5.89/gallon
• National average: ~$4.08/gallon
• Difference: +$1.81 that has ZERO to do with any war or “Big Oil.”
That premium has existed for decades — long before this conflict began.
Highest gas taxes & fees in America (~71¢ excise + sales + cap-and-trade + LCFS credits = nearly $1.80/gal in total state burden).
CARB’s boutique “California-only” fuel blend that no other state can supply.
Decades of refinery closures, low-carbon mandates, and permitting hell that slashed in-state capacity while CA imported more crude from foreign sources.
Nevada imports 85-90% of its fuel from those same strangled California refineries. Arizona gets ~33%.
Green ideology isn’t just screwing Californians — it’s pricing out your neighbors too. (Sound familiar, @AaronDFordNV?)
You and Governor Newsom keep blaming Trump and producers for the mess Sacramento engineered.
Meanwhile, the same CARB regs you cheered are now a national security issue for DoD bases on the West Coast. Trump’s Defense Production Act moves to fix what ideology broke. That’s not “Big Oil” — that’s basic energy security.
And while we’re on the topic of who really benefits:
It is our understanding that you built your ~$2 billion fortune running Farallon Capital, a hedge fund that delivered big returns in part through investments in fossil fuels — including coal mines and power plants abroad.
Then your fund pivoted to climate investing via Galvanize Climate Solutions, raising hundreds of millions for “decarbonization” plays and profitinh handsomely from the subsidies, mandates, and regulations.
In political science terms this would be called rent-seeking.
Energy security isn’t optional.
American oil & gas delivers it — when Sacramento gets out of the way.
But it sounds like if elected you're not prepared to get out of the way.
At any rate, thank you for sharing your views on this important issue.
@LamarMK Very expensive to buy new and I don’t know how you can say “inexpensive insurance”. In my experience it’s either the same or slightly more than gas cars.
Buying used is a deal but then you get less or no battery warranty which scares people off.
