This is 9-year-old Rivers Malcolm. He came to fill sandbags in the piercing rain in an attempt to block water from invading Lumberton. “I wanted to help because this is way worser than Matthew and I remember that was a really, really bad storm.”
They didn’t turn around after being checked in…not even a glance back. Appreciative to Camp Corral for this week long opportunity for our boys.

By a unanimous and bipartisan vote, H.R. 1964 has passed the House! When enacted, the Lumbee Tribe will be a sovereign entity under federal law and have access to federal funding and services they need and deserve. I look forward to swift passage in the Senate.
@DallasWoodhouse & I have never agreed on most things. However, we agree that @JoeBiden has been duly elected by the citizens of our great Country. Thanks for speaking out during this time of uncertainty, when purported leaders remain silent or further unfounded conspiracies.
I did not vote for @JoeBiden nor do I support most of his polices. However, I believe he is the duly elected President-elect of the United States. I wish noting but the best for him in leading our country. He and Jill will be in my prayers.
Leaders, regardless of party, need to step forward and speak out regarding the unsubstantiated attacks being made against our election processes. Ignorance of how elections are actually carried out by election professionals does not excuse their deafening silence.
