What do you think of "carbon farming"?

Modern agriculture has transformed our world by enabling a small group of people to produce food for a very large group of people, so that the large group of people have the free time to engage in other productive pursuits that advance a city/country/region.
Carbon farming, or using agricultural land to produce carbon credits and not food, is the antithesis of modern agriculture.
Productive land, and more importantly, the valuable time and effort of the ‘small group’ is wasted on producing an artificial product that does not sustain/nourish the ‘large group’ in the community.
Also, I can see that due to the overwhelming complexity of accounting for carbon, farmers will not be permitted to self-assess their properties and report on the carbon credits they produce, and thus will be forced to pay for ‘carbon accountants’ and annual carbon audits for their farms – yet another waste of time, money and effort for no productive gain.

Aus farmers under serious attack under this current government and or the left in general. Excessive rules and regulations and dismantling of whole industries to appease far left activist groups is straight out the play book of the EU and UK. We all know how that’s going.

The sneaky tricks of the Yes campaign have been completely exposed again!

Leaked messages from official Yes campaign advisors have emerged, clearly showing the Yes campaign's tactic of downplaying treaty links to some voters and highlighting treaty for others.

Is it any wonder voters are confused? Is it any wonder they have questions? And on top of it all, when confused voters express their concerns about the lack of clear details, Yes campaigners like Ray Martin call them 'd*ckheads.'

But the truth is there in black and white for you to see: Voice = Treaty.

Even the Yes campaign admits the link between Voice and Treaty, some of the time.

@bethpenrose Also matching this up with mineral supplements for the livestock to capitalise on growth and working a way to properly utilise the feed once grown. Also the basics in good genetics of livestock such as crossbreeding and the use of hybrid vigour for better growth and FCE.

@bethpenrose Think we can run more high input pasture systems especially around this area and get more out of them such as strategic N management getting P levels right and all the rest that follows after. We have some great genetics in pasture annuals but don’t feel we seeing full potential

@Omadstud We just put a portable TTI 1200l one on a flat top trailer we had made up then you can fit so much more on it and use the trailer for other things aswell when you take it off! Can go bigger then 1200l portable aswell and tows fine being baffled 👍
