One is shot on-location, the other is not. There's no disconnect between Daenerys and the background like there is between Daemon and what is either a green screen or the Volume. The only real thing in the HOTD shot is Matt Smith and the saddle he stands next to.

Episode 5 a top tier #Fallout episode. This really is The Ghoul’s story at the cinematic heart of the series thus far, especially with someone like Walton Goggins in the role. However, Lucy, Norman, Hank, Maximus, and the whole cast complete the package invoking the games’ best.
