I already phased out on this movie once they revealed it's actually just another Robin Hood movie, but this scene of the protagonist running a short sword through a steel cuirass just sealed the deal lmao
Jason straight up John McClane'd the terrorists at the Megamundo event like, "Oh nice! Die Hard. I've seen this movie. Let's try something πππ£"
However, the whole 'shoot at your kid in the backyard until they're drained of a perfectly healthy instinctual human emotion and childhood' would have to be entirely removed or the line wouldn't make much sense in context π
A better way to write that white privilege scene that would have worked imo would be more like "The Guardians saw something excellent in Jordan that didn't come through in your father. But you have that same excellence in yourself and it's up to you to prove that." #Lanterns
I mean, it would still involve a mother brainwashing her child to groom him for a dream she personally wants, but it removes the negative reinforcement and replaces it with a positive one to truly inspire.
@_ross_sims They nuked a whole previous DC movie universe over the lack of interest in a cynical, grounded take on superheroes, yet here we are, but now it's kind of even worse because it's so forced.
I'll admit, Ep 2 is was a definite improvement for me overall. Still not sure why Hal Jordan has to be so miserable, but the narrative is becoming more interesting. #lanterns
So I thought the era of DC unnecessarily subverting the hell out of their characters was over? That was like an episode of Titans π€¦ββοΈ Couldn't have made Hal Jordan any less likable. #Lanterns

One is shot on-location, the other is not. There's no disconnect between Daenerys and the background like there is between Daemon and what is either a green screen or the Volume. The only real thing in the HOTD shot is Matt Smith and the saddle he stands next to.
how is it possible that a scene from a got episode that aired 11 years ago looks better than the prequel show that is currently on air. sorry i know some of u still watch the dragon show but iβm gonna need someone to explain to me why itβs so fucking ugly
In an unfortunately continuous sea of box office and critical Hollywood flops of the cyclical IP franchise money grabs with gratuitous budgets that benefit little to the finished product, these types of films stand out as shining gems in murky, stagnant waters.
While it didn't carry the same magic as S1 for me - I suppose due to the novelty of seeing Fallout come to life for the first time - S2 was still quite a rollercoaster of a ride with lots of wild twists and turns and big revelations. Ready for S3! #Fallout
SPOILERS
Not to mention the fun callbacks like Lucy going stealth to loot the shop, dealing with a chem addiction; or Norm searching the office building for pre-war intel. The doctorβs new role is just pure, unhinged, Fallout wackiness π€£
Episode 5 a top tier #Fallout episode. This really is The Ghoulβs story at the cinematic heart of the series thus far, especially with someone like Walton Goggins in the role. However, Lucy, Norman, Hank, Maximus, and the whole cast complete the package invoking the gamesβ best.
