@AnotherRadProd@_LamNam_@CNviolations Your phone and/or the key card. Your phone with the app acts as the key. You put pin to drive so even if someone steals your phone they can’t drive the car. If you have your phone on you,you just walk in/out and it locks basically automatically.
@LlcPickaxe Also worth noting, Japanese companies often take a different cultural approach than American ones. Profit matters, but so do things like trust, accessibility, and long-term brand integrity. Not everything is meant to be optimized for profit.
@LlcPickaxe I get the appeal investing/profiting from cards, but Pokémon was made for kids to enjoy, not as an investment platform. When products meant for play become speculative, it can take that joy away, especially from those the game was meant for. Feels worth thinking about.
@bp22 I was just saying this the other day. There’s no way they mean what they’re tweeting, right? I’d imagine all their private deal making is MUCH different than what they’re showing the public. I think best assumption is this is just what they want the public to think.
my dad sat me down once and said:
“There are only two jobs in the world: building or selling. If you’re not doing one of those, you’re just an expense.”
still think about this.
