@Teslarati@TeslaCharging@elonmusk The cable where attached to the pedestal and NACS should be quick-release & also close a contactor in the connection. Once broken, the contactor opens to cut current and allow the vehicle to drive away. Think of a trailer break away cable or gas pump.
@Canada@liberal_party As a right-of-center taxpayer, I care about what our governments spend money on. That said, 24 Sussex can be paid for with a blank cheque. Get it done!
Renovation of 24 Sussex could cost taxpayers up to $150M

@GM I've tried many EVs but never bought. My next car will be a BEV truck. My list is short: R1T or the much more affordable Lightning. I don't want sail panels. I don't need 700km of range. I don't want a midgate. I need an affordable truck.

@brianlilley Brian, there's no reason Canada can't fly more than one type of fighter. We used to. We even had an aircraft carrier through the end of the 1970s. Get a few dozen F-35s and 2-3 times that number of Gripens as they are FAR cheaper to operate and have more than 25% ready to fight.
@billcarrolltalk This seems unnecessary. Driving Instructors fall under O-Reg 473/07 s.10 (1) (d) (i) (B) which limits accumulated demerit points to 3 at which point the instructing license (pink card, not blue) is either revoked or nonrenewable.

@Ford, I don't want a small truck. I don't want a midsize. What I want is loads of capability. Seating for 6 big adults, a 6'+ box for our shit and the ability to tow a tri-axle house on wheels. This BEV Super Duty is called F-250/F-350 Thunder.

If Ontario takes itself - and wants to be taken seriously, Ontarians and their elected representatives need to be ok with this et al. The opposition needs to remember it's transportation for this AND future @ONgov regardless of party colours.

I still fail to understand why we need to put all our fighter eggs in one foreign-controlled basket. Let's buy at least 24 F-35s as first-strike aircraft then follow with dozens (100+?) more Gripens as the affordable, fully @RCAF_ARC-controlled backbone.

@Rainmaker1973 Depends on location. Generally speaking, it looks like late '70s. Maybe even very early '80s. More specifically, if it was taken at my mother's 2nd husband's place, it could be as recent as this morning. He bought the place, appliances, and decor in the 1970's and just existed.
@Kia_Worldwide Kia, here's what you do: take the EV9 and bulk it up into a solid mid size pickup. Don't worry about competing with an F-150 Raptor. Maybe as capable as a Z71 Colorado. In other words, don't gooverboard. "Real truck people" won't buy it anyway because it's not ๐บ๐ธ. Tow 7-10k lbs.
It wouldn't surprise me if he has a dozen subs (for any country with arctic interest) lying in wait north of our 3 territories right now. As well as off of BC & NL. Our only hope is if their rank and file soldiers of all branches refuse their orders. Some might. Most won't.
@billcarrolltalk Careful Carney, it's a trap. USA invades Greenland. @NATO et. al. invoke Article 5. USA wastes no time declaring war on @Canada and has us inside 24 hours. From Alaska, Greenland/Baffin Island (et al), and of course, the lower 48.

@billcarrolltalk Here's the play: USA unilaterally assumes control of Greenland while US Navy simultaneously takes the Arctic Ocean. While the dust is settling, they move south and take our territories by just being there. Then BC, AB, & SK are easy.
