Notes For My Next Campaign

I need a Twitter everyone can read, but I don't like to talk about my stuff unless it's in private. I guess this one can be about my next DnD game.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

First: I don't like Fantasy
I mean it's ok, but SciFi is more my speed. So I'm probably not going to run a DnD game.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

@ibakepies Anything else is going to be tricky to set up.
You're going to need some other stuff, I'm here if you need me.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

@ibakepies I'm really sorry, but I can't stand by watch you suffer:

Vangelis has passed away.

Order is maintained by a contracted company (currently Arxis Security Solutions). The Starborn races of the Fingers use Ember for making massively destructive weaponry.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

The denizens of the fingers enjoy a level of technology that could possibly rival the Aeybronic Empire of the central systems.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

The states of the Fingers are independent, but representatives from most governing bodies speak for their people at the Stellar Assembly.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

I want to cry. Oh my god it keeps hurting, this is a nightmare and it won't stop.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

But if the players investigate the ship enough they'll find the name of the ship was originally "The Thessian".

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

The ship the players will eventually get will be a hodge-podge of different parts and components with skeleton of a dwarven military vessel. The ship will have a bunch of different names written on the side (some written over others, some just crossed out)...

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

The empire has developed a crippling dependency to Ember to keep itself from imploding under it's massive size.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

The Center of Galatea (referred to as central by the sentient life forms of Galatea) is home to the Holy Aeybronic Empire.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

As an effect of the Human-wrought Phage, The further into the Empire traveled, the more you see classic designs interpreted by the Empire's subjects and the presence of machine counts, lords, dukes and kings.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

So in Galatea there will be a group called the Startographers founded by an eccentric explorer named Sathington Bermanberry.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

In Vanilla Starfinder there is a an organization of explorers called the Starfinder society (basically The Federation's Starfleet except the Starfinder Society doesn't have a rigid military structure)...

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

I think an organization like The Starfinder Society is essential for this type of game; you have to have an equivalent in your campaign.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

Or is that the point and I'm dumber than hell.

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

Off topic, but isn't it kind of bullshit when Morrissey says "Now I know how Joan of Ark felt" in Big Mouth Strikes Again?

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

I want to give the players their own plucky, piece-of-junk ship that is the best ship in Galatea because it's THEIR ship, damnit!

[Notes For My Next Campaign @JoshXsays]

The cool thing about Starfinder is that the players get to have a spaceship.
