@_ShamGod He does content in a way that someone with absolutely no cultural understanding of the topic can tap into the conversation and learn. It's why his reach is so vast. And this ensures people re-watch, so the engagement is good.
Not y'all went from Toni Morrison is pathologizing Black people (via "irredeemable Black men" characters) to “child marriage might offend your modern sensibilities...”
wow, wow, wow...
@obatunse There are women, in all of Morrison's books, who are sexually violent, maladaptive, incestuous, murderous, and so on. Your argument might stand with Alice Walker, but Toni was not pathologizing Black men in the way that you claim. Centering her is just netting outrage
He dismissed me as a scholar. We’re talking about a YouTube video. Don’t piecemeal now. But he doesn’t understand why I would acknowledge social media discourse…oh how dare I do so.
“yOuR not a CReaToR” 😂😂😂 boy this era of social media fake seekers is fried😂 a scholar is dismissed cus he’s not a content creator, nevermind the fact @eihtbeezy is accredited & sat in on convos w/other scholars far more accomplished than u🤷🏾♂️ but oh well he has no TikTok’s😂
@angryblkhoemo It’s insanity. And now the comments on that video are men saying I’m intersectional, as a point of dismissal. I fear, I fear….the people are not okay. And here I thought the divest girls were going to be on my neck 😭
I never “seriously” considered it. I discussed it bc in the social media bubble I exist in “black man are coddled” was the presented as a reasonable point by far too many ppl.
You’re making a lot of assumptions that don’t at all fit with what I presented in the video.
I seen the whole vid. I'm not trying to misrepresent you. I think the fact you seriously considered the assertion that Black men are coddled says a lot about the misandry of Black feminism. A better vid would've discussed the institutional decimation of BM or education and ICT.
@eihtbeezy I’m ending the conversation here because it makes no sense that you can’t understand that I was not arguing in favor of that question when my argument against it is clearly stated.
All y’all do is bring in further harassment from your audience and it’s quite ridiculous.
@eihtbeezy The question can be absurd and a popular refrain. You’re not a creator, you clearly don’t know how to engage an audience. Addressing what ppl will be quick to bring up & moving the convo in a different direction, away from that concept, brings ppl in.
AOC may not be getting that APIAC money, but she’s getting something. It ain’t just for the love of the game. There’s more. Something in the milk ain’t clean.
Oh brother...I actually said that IF Black men were coddled as a whole, then more would be in college with better outcomes.
You watched the WHOLE video or just went w/ the title while projecting an identity on to me?
I think the anti-black misandrist narratives spread by the black bourgeois-intersectional-academic class in digital media is disgusting. In 2025, we are seriously considering the assertion that black men being coddled as boys make them not want to go to college?
Idk how he's claiming I didn't consider the trauma. Bc I spent the first 15 minutes discussing how we all engage in a patriarchy that is violent to young boys. Y'all can slow the video down!
