It’s 1:07am and @flyairpeace has not said anything. I’m still at the airport waiting to go home. Since Thursday, I’ve been delayed. It’s Saturday now, 1:07am

Lagos to Kano leg was supposed to kick off at 5.10 pm on 23rd Sept, 2024. Got hit with a text and email shifting it to 7.15 pm, got to the airport on time, thinking we'd jet off as planned. Airpeace staff gave some flimsy excuses about weather in Abuja

It is 00.04 already. So, technically the plane from Kano will leave on Saturday morning. 

The unplanned expenses for an extra day/night in Kano; hotel room fees, feeding etc and Airpeace washed their hands clean of any expenses incurred by me due to this cancellation???!!

When I checked their site for an early Friday flight, what do I find? A flight taking off at 10.55 pm Thursday night! Can you believe that?
I’m at the Kano airport, waiting for the 10.55pm flight, Airpeace staff announced that there will be another 1hr or more delay

Tried to check their site for some compensation, but guess what? No chance. Airpeace washed their hands clean of any costs we rack up 'cause of their cancellation and incompetence.

I just got another message, that the flight for 7.10pm Friday has been moved to 10.55pm, so, I’ll be landing in Lagos on early Saturday morning.

With this rescheduled flight, I have to foot the bill for an extra night at the hotel, food, and all those unexpected costs. Messed up all my Friday plans, appointments, the whole shebang.

Now, brace yourself for the return flight to Lagos on 26th Sept, 2024... Airpeace dropped a bombshell text saying my Thursday 7.10 pm flight got "reaccommodated" to Friday 7.10 pm due to unscheduled maintenance on the aircraft, same excuse all the time. A whole day gone!

and the inability of the plane to land cuz that’s the plane that was supposed to come to lagos to fly us to Kano. Long story short, we didn't lift off till 9.37 pm, touched down in Kano at 11 pm.
