Security Advisory

On July 28 six beta versions of our npm packages containing malicious code were published. All six versions were removed as of July 29th. We also found the same implant in three public Joyfill GitHub repositories, going back to May 25. Those public github repos have been removed as of Aug 1st. If you cloned any Joyfill repo between May 25 and Aug 1, or installed a npm beta package carrying a 2773 marker, check those machines (see security advisory for instructions).

What's clean: we manually inspected all 800+ versions we've published to npm in the past 12 months and found nothing else. Every joyfill package currently on is free from the malicious code.

We'll publish a full post-mortem when we've concluded the investigation.
