So here’s what I’ve learned:
👉Never judge a brand by its marketing.
👉Never assume “Pro” in the name means “Professional.”
👉And never invest in a brand that disappears when you need support the most.
To every creator and founder out there — this is not a rant, it’s a warning

And that’s when I made the mistake of searching “Asus service” on LinkedIn — and suddenly, I didn’t feel alone. The number of similar horror stories out there was shocking.

It’s a month of wasted productivity, a full salary paid to someone who couldn’t work — all because of a defective product and a broken service process.

The latest update? They’ve “ordered a new panel and motherboard to test.” Not to fix — to test.
At this point, I’ve stopped being angry — it’s just exhausting.
Because for a young company like ours, this is not just a “technical delay.”

After almost a month, not a single “senior team” member called back — despite being promised every single time.
Finally, an engineer visited our office, saw the issue in person, agreed something was off, but didn’t know the cause either.

From there, the real circus began:
Every time we called customer support, they said “72 hours for an update.”
No update came. Called again — “another 72 hours.”
Still nothing.

We contacted the store — “Sorry, 7 days are over, please visit the service center.”
Packed it up, took it there. The technician wasn’t sure what the issue was but decided to replace the panel. Waited another week. Got it back — still the same problem.

Then came Onam — our busiest season. We couldn’t unbox the monitors right away. Once the rush settled, we set them up — only to find one monitor proudly displaying a permanent green tint.
From a “color-accurate” display, that’s… quite a creative choice.

The monitors were out of stock almost everywhere. Still, we patiently waited 1.5 months, hunted across stores, and finally managed to get a few units — even paying extra over the standard price. Because we believed good tools are worth the investment.

So after weeks of research, we went for the Asus ProArt series, a monitor line marketed as “Calman verified”, “built for professionals”, and “trusted for color accuracy.”
Sounds perfect for a creative brand, right?
Except… it wasn’t.
