@Holy_Molygr1 It’s a fair point… I honestly don’t know… if something fishy is going on then I think it’s really unfair to all the other Merc engine drivers. But again, this is all speculation.
@Holy_Molygr1 It could be because Antonelli knows how to manage power better, it’s just luck, or something strange is actually going on. I’m not saying deliberately but Antonelli may just have stronger people on his side of the garage to manage PU issues.
@Silverhawktm73@RedBullfan0710@f1_naija My argument is that if RB was really tailored to Max’s driving style, he shouldn’t have hated his car as much as he has in the last couple of years.
@ForzaDeadpool44@F1GuyDan I don’t believe so. MV and IH got podiums in a lesser car. Post-race analysis suggests they are doing well given their package. It’s the car right now but they will keep developing so should be an interesting season.
@ForzaDeadpool44@F1GuyDan RB definitely do not have the best car. They are 4th in the WCC. Again, not everything is about Max but analysis suggests he’s figuring out the regulations faster than others. RB upgrades are working with driver feedback. But regardless, this post is about Kimi mate.
@LN1NOR It’s true - Piastri won F4, F3, F2 championships in his rookie year. Kimi struggled in F2, and skipped F3 so we wouldn’t know. But people forget that Kimi also struggled in 2025, and wasn’t rookie of the year. I like Kimi but people need to relax. Time will tell.
@F1GuyDan There have been many drivers hailed as the next Senna/Schu. Many became very good drivers, but they weren’t generational. Time will tell with Kimi, but comparing his junior career, he was elite but Oscar smokes him in terms of achievements. So, calm down everyone.
@F1GuyDan This is def F1’s worst habit; calling generational talents too quickly. Antonelli is doing incredible, but he hasn’t been truly tested yet. 6 race wins in the fastest car on the grid is a beautiful start, but that label belongs to those who do the impossible in inferior machinery
@mercsogyny Antonelli is genuinely impressive. But Senna/Max/Schu built their legends extracting the impossible from inferior machinery. 6 races leading a championship in the fastest car on the grid is a beautiful start, but right now the MER is carrying more than pundits credit it.
@Jackkk I understand what he means; I also feel sad at the amount of homelessness in my city and how the systems have failed them. But with LH, it does feel disingenuous given the fact he lives in Monaco as his primary residence to avoid paying taxes meant to help people.
