Last night, I gave a Bitcoin talk to a crypto club, half expecting wailing & gnashing of teeth whenever I eviscerated crypto narratives. But even before the speech, I was pleasantly surprised how much those I spoke to already agreed with me and how receptive they were to Bitcoin.

@roger__9000 It's better for Bitcoin's price that MONEY adopts it, not PEOPLE. Most people don't have savings, they have DEBT and those who do adopt it and increase their wealth will likely want to realise the benefit by spending or selling. It's institutions who are doing most of the buying.

@roger__9000 Millions of BTC were dumped or spent by "real adopters" in 2025 and absorbed by institutions in order to store their already significant wealth rather than buy houses, cars and holidays with. Without them, this would have tanked Bitcoin back to the triple figures.

The bottom of the real market was closer to $180.

Because of the SDNY, the World has a dimensioned respect for your authority to make the USA the Bitcoin capital.

Mr. President with all due respect, until you negate the SDNY’s successful efforts to make a mockery out the rule of law in America, you will be seen weaker and subservient to the SDNY because they are falsing imprisoning the very Bitcoin developers you need to fulfill your ambitions.

In summary the SDNY, via the imprisonment of the Samourai developers, have discredited you and your administration in the eyes of the World.

The SDNY has damaged your creditable and the value that the USA could offer as the Bitcoin capital of the World.

However, here is the good news. By pardoning the Samourai developers from the fraudulent conviction extracted under duress, you prove to the World:

1. You are more honest and powerful than the SDNY;

2. American can and will be the Bitcoin capital of the World.

Mr. President your credibility is at risk here.

Now is the time to demonstrate your leadership and your respect for the rule of law in American.

The average president will not rise to this occasion because it takes courage. However, you are not an average president.

You are a president of honor and respect for the full of law.

Mr. President by pardoning the Samourai developers you send a clear message to the World.

That message says: “Donald J Trump will not let the SDNY conduct witch hunts against innocent people to the detriment of the best interest of America”.

I was put on a full flight after Emirates changed the schedule, but I could choose from a number of alternative flight combos after I phoned them. So I chose this almost empty flight and got a free transit hotel in Dubai! Best flight ever!
