Lost for words. The football & results have been poor recently but there’s much more to it than that. We haven’t recovered from a poor January window. Fans were crucified by the owner which made home games even more difficult to get results. Don’t know what the plan is from here.

We can announce that Gerhard Struber has been relieved of his duties as Bristol City Head Coach.

Roy Hodgson will take charge of the Men’s First Team until the end of the season, while the club will task the incoming Sporting Director with appointing a permanent Head Coach for the 2026/27 campaign.

The club’s recent performances have not met expectations and therefore Struber and Assistant Head Coach Bernd Eibler will leave with immediate effect.

This would be the 3rd player in 18 months who has refused to sign a contract and go to another championship club. Begs the question - what are we doing wrong? The clubs named are below us in the division and one is a point above us. There is something not quite right about this..

For me it’s bad planning all round and the distinct lack of plan around our transfer activity (incoming and outgoing) is so far off where we should and need to be.

Knight & McRorie should be offered deals now with negotiations happening until the summer. We should have a good idea if they’re going to sign or not.
