@ECreates88 Bro says βwe donβt want AIβ then logs off to watch 10 men run back and forth on hardwood for 3 hours while billion dollar companies sell him ads every 11 seconds ππππππππ
@mikeastahl@JorCru The crew shared the loss when they accepted poverty math to get the movie made.
The producerβs risk is called investment. The crewβs risk is called passion.
Thatβs the scam.
ββThey agreed to itβ has defended every garbage labor practice in history.
The question is why a film can print hundreds of millions while the people who physically made it are told $300/day is the privilege.
The industry is designed so the people with the least leverage sign the worst deals.
@noiseykid@storyandplot fine arts is true art (minus photography)
Digital art is a stack of software decisions pretending to have soul.
The moment art needs a power source, its negative aura.
Real world is art. Screen world is demonic.
Digital art people love acting like AI crossed some sacred line, but the line was gone the second art moved onto a screen.
Itβs all machine assisted slop.
Photoshop? Slop.
CGI? Slop.
Digital brushes? Slop.
3D renders? Slop.
Motion capture? Slop.
Filters, plugins, presets, texture packs, asset libraries, green screens, rotoscoping, compositing, slop with extra steps.
You are not smearing pigment on a cave wall. You are clicking buttons inside software built by engineers, running on a machine, using tools that automate light, color, texture, perspective, movement, correction, and composition.
So spare me the purity crisis.
AI didnβt invent fake art. Digital art has been fake. AI just made the fakeness faster, cheaper, and harder for gatekeepers to pretend is spiritually different from their own machine assisted workflow.
@seanward fake artists getting mad that other fake artists can now make their fake art 100x faster. The whole βmanual struggleβ argument falls apart when youβve already replaced the canvas with a computer.
At least be consistent.
Harambes supply got bought by a coordinated group. they buy most the supply, shill, and offload on endless side wallets.
same group who did ass token. same ppl who just did the recent wojak token.
if you see any of these wallets in a token / shilling a token - run the opposite way
they choose "big" memes to go under the radar
VFX render engines literally use stochastic sampling, noise approximation, and AI denoising (DLSS, OptiX) to fake lighting that's too expensive to calculate precisely. your "precise math" pipeline has been quietly using approximation slop for decades.
video is 24-60 lossy frames per second of compressed color data your display is actively interpolating. a digital image is a grid of quantized approximations. you've never seen a precise pixel in your life.
@CoffeeandIrony@jandrewellis Strings of code have been making fake art for a long time now. Any digital media is a simulated version of reality - ie fake.
Cameras are also machines.
Hand made > anything else
The irony is exquisite. Youβre defending film, a medium invented by machines, processed by machines, projected by machines, displayed through RGB pixels that canβt even render the full spectrum of human vision as βreal artβ worth protecting. At what point in the machine chain did it become authentic?
Itβs all slop stop lying to yourself. A machine is a machine is a machine.
@PurzBeats As long as we all agree that digital music isnβt really music as itβs a machine simulated version of sound then who cares. Digital slop is digital slop.
