@clint_lyttle Currently subscribed with Memrise for a year. But I still keep my duolingo streak, a good way for me to check in daily with my language learning. But I still use other resources on the side such as lessons on Coursera, as well as kpop and kdrama for exposure and listening.
@BritishBC@thelangbot For me, yes. At just 20 mins a day, it's like my checking in with my language learning journey. Although I also take Coursera coursera courses as well as Memrise subscription.
@LaPrincesaBruja That's what I thought, too! Hope I can replicate my passion for Korean with R. Curious where 20 mins per day on datacamp would take me in a year!
Would learning a programming language like R be any harder than learning an actual language such as Korean? Planning to take on R side by side Korean. #langtwt#R
@deyus_ I love Duolingo! I guess the hate comes from expecting to learn a language in a quick time, just by using ONLY it, which leads to frustration. As for me, I use it only as a supplement while taking coursera courses and watching content on my target language.
My Liberation Notes is exactly what I needed. Iโve been feeling extremely lost lately, thereโs always this feeling that Iโm not doing anything with my life, itโs like I donโt have a purpose. Nothing makes me really happy. I also desperately need liberation
