Driver Rescued from Vehicle that Rolled over Guard Rail and Wedged into Trees Preventing it from Tumbling onto QEW Below
▪️Friday, January 30 at 10:51 a.m. on the ramp from the #QEW Fort Erie bound to #Hwy420 in Niagara Falls.
▪️A vehicle lost control on the icy roads and struck the snow on the shoulder causing the vehicle to climb over the guard rail and come to rest in the trees and bushes, preventing it from rolling down the embankment onto the #QEW Toronto bound lanes below.
▪️The 23-year-old female driver, the lone occupant, was rescued from the vehicle by witnesses who stopped to assist.
▪️No injuries and no charges expected.
