@FinFreedom414 Im living option B, except 4 kids and a Honda. I get the opportunity to travel for work every few weeks. I hate the quiet, travel, and freedom to do whatever. I can't wait till Friday to drive home to my wife & kids and chaos.
@BowTiedBroke I had a 200 unit campground shut down by me. Unfortunately for you, most of those will be 3rd or 4th homes and used as air bnb. I would coordinate with the county to prevent short term rentals. Otherwise, you'll have YN's, and H1B's tearing up your land in their side by sides.
@boxingfan7891@Al_1701@jlippincott@local16653909 I didn't spank. I also didn't beg and plead. One chance, one opportunity. Begging and pleading teaches kids that you don't mean what you say.
What the guy did in the story was right. Give the kid seriousness, one chance and show you mean it.
@C_3C_3 Judge takes away any assistance the parent(s) receive for the child. No more food assistance, section 8, energy assistance, phone assistance, college assistance, debt repayment, free museum passes, child support, ect. Take everything away from the parent(s). That'll fix it quick!
@MattWalshBlog The hardest part is when they finish high school and all the regrets of not doing more kicks in. When you chose to work longer hours, say no because you were too tired. Days turn to months turn to years and next thing you know, they're grown up.
@IIIlIlIllIlIIII@kamikazecash I did the exact same thing. Had thousands of shares of Microsoft and Nvidia I bought after the 08 crash. Sold it to buy a house 8 years later.
Watch what my grandparents and parents did and do exactly the opposite. Buy/build a compound so that kids/grandkids can live close, share bills. I will front the burden of costs with my retirement. The property will be in a trust. If the time comes, I will drain the retirement and give it all away to the kids, not a nursing home.
@doqholliday Boomers are great grandparents at this point. GenX needs to step up and help their kids. Im a millennial and am helping my kids. Will GenX help when they inherit mommy and stepdaddys and daddy's and step mommy's estate? Or will they selfishly keep it all to themselves?
@teachthemx3 I was homeless and gaurdianless my senior year. Got an apartment, worked a job 4am-8am then 4pm-8pm 7 days a week to pay rent and buy food. I missed my 1st class all year, would you fail me?
Time moves ultra fast. I have 4, my 3rd will graduate. It feels like in my mind, I was teaching him how to ride a bike last month and here he is graduating.
Financially, I had enough Nvidia in 2017 to be worth $20 million today. But I sold it to buy a house to be more financially secure. You really cant predict the future. Im still w-2.
@SenMikeLee My roots go back to pre revolution. My wife's roots go back to the pilgrims. We have a son who wants to go into tech. Republicans and Trump would rather tell us that no American wants the job or is qualified.
@kehanzx@TheH0n3stTrader Im working on a boring plain app. Replace "people" with car wash, laundry mat, butcher, grocery store, school, etc. There's 500 of those across 50 states. Provide something that saves them $200/month, and they pay $30/month.
@RealSeanIrish01@bprintco They're usually not resistant, just isolated. There was 1 in my town and one in another town 80 miles away. But we're over 800 miles from the original forest. I wouldn't spread it too much in a concentrated area. A guy south of me did that and they all got infected.
@BlackPantherCap@YuvInvests Rocketlab went to 30+, then dropped to 4. Then up to 80, and dropped to 60. Now over 100. You can take profits, it'll probably drop to 70. Buy back...or it keeps going?
@futurist_lens@g1elompik I bought Nvidia at 50 cents because I liked the graphic cards. I bought Rocketlab at $4 because I like rockets. Sometimes being dumb and liking things is the winning secret. Sofi is still cheap. Uranium is still cheap. Rumble is cheap. Robotic medical companies are cheap.
