@FedExHelp@RaquelOlmos10 Here is I ne simple change to the FedEx experience would be welcome. Yeah, I’m not saying it would do anything but when you get a “delivered” photo of a place that’s obviously not your house there should be a damn option to report it as such.
True. And they are going to be even more impossible to understand because of our limitations as humans locked inside language. It’s not a bad thing. True magic is just around the corner.
World Labs CEO Dr. Fei-Fei Li: "The world is not made of words."
"Language models have given machines an extraordinary command of concepts, vocabulary, and reasoning, but the physical world, virtual or real, runs on a different substrate."
"Where language models learn the statistical structure of text, world models learn the statistical structure of space and time: how light falls on a surface, how a garden looks from an angle no camera has captured, how objects respond to force and follow the laws of physics."
"Language gave machines a way to talk about that world. World models are how machines will finally come to understand, imagine, reason and interact with it."

Nick Bilton is NOT messing around.
GOOD for him as first test of leadership doing what he must to prevent the mobs, intolerance, incivility and dishonest demagoguery taking over as they did at other news orgs @nickbilton 💪 @bariweiss
The K-shaped economy is playing out in real-time.
If you're not on the right side of it, I'd be very worried.
AI is splitting every industry into two camps:
a) People who are genuinely great at their craft are becoming exponentially more valuable.
b) People who were average are becoming virtually worthless overnight.
Anyone can build a website in 10 minutes with AI now.
If you were a mediocre web designer, you're done.
Anyone can write decent copy with Claude.
If you were an average copywriter, the market doesn't need you anymore.
But here's the other side of the K-shape:
The truly great web designer is now 10x more productive and commands higher rates than ever.
The elite copywriter who uses AI to strategize, think, and come up with great ideas is now worth more than ever.
The uncomfortable question to ask yourself:
Am I genuinely great at what I do - or was I just good enough to get by?
Because "good enough" no longer has a market.
The window to move from the bottom of the K to the top is still open.
But it won't be forever.

Wife works as a data scientist at a major tech company. She says some 10x engineers are now 100x engineers, while other people have completely missed the memo and are still doing things by hand. Huge disparity in adoption, but the adopters are massively productive.
This song - and now video, means more to me than most will ever know. There was no way to include everyone I love who has been so important in my life, so apologies in advance if anyone feels left out - just know I love you all and dearly miss all of you who are no longer with us. God Is Good. ✝️
