Azerbaijan's FM and his Ukranian counterpart discussed 🇦🇿&🇺🇦 bilateral relations, as well as regional and international security issues of mutual interest in Kyiv.
🇮🇷 has announced 7% toll on all commercial ships passing through Hormuz, would generate $100 billion yearly net at pre-war traffic. Tehran campares it with Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Saudi Aramco's annual profit and frames this as its own triumph and a humiliation for Trump.
On 17 July, within the framework of his official visit to the Russian Federation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of #Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.

When the Security Council is divided, the consequences are felt across the world.
Amid intensifying conflicts & deepening geopolitical divisions, the Council must uphold the @un Charter, rebuild trust through leadership & compromise, and act in the interest of peace.
I strongly condemn the explosion targeting a train in Pakistan.
Terrorism in all its forms is unacceptable.
The perpetrators must be identified & brought to justice.
The @UN stands in solidarity with the people & the Government of Pakistan.
We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack targeting a train in #Quetta, #Pakistan, which resulted in the tragic loss of innocent lives and left many others injured.

Araghchi shared this image; it might be implying that Trump will need Valerian to reduce his stress. (Note: Sasanian Shapur I captured Emperor Valerian, which was the first and only time in Roman history, the rock carving shows him kneeling before Shapur).
Yesterday, once again, a clear line was drawn between the war party and the peace party. I am referring not so much to the debate between Trump and Zelensky, but to the subsequent reactions to this debate. President Trump and his peace efforts were condemned one after another by people responsible for allowing a bloody war and callously sacrificing Ukraine and the lives of thousands of Ukrainians.
The global war party immediately mobilized familiar speakers against President Trump – starting with Jeanne Shaheen and ending with numerous officials from Brussels. The leaders of the Georgian radical opposition were not far behind, who just a month ago proudly showed off selfies taken in the backroom of President Trump's inauguration.
Yesterday, the line was once again drawn between those forces who seek peace and care about the fate of Ukrainians, and those who want to fight until the last Ukrainian. It also became clear that the global war party and the deep state will not easily let go of the war.
It was once again confirmed that what we have been asserting for three years – the United States and the global war party are two different entities. Let us remind you that our opponents have tried to equate them throughout these years.
The battle between the war party and those who seek peace is entering a decisive phase. Let us hope that this battle ends with the victory of peace. The sooner the war in Ukraine ends, the fewer Ukrainian lives will be sacrificed, and the sooner peace will prevail across the entire region.
I wish President Trump strength and courage in this difficult battle.
After a snowball fight in Washington DC, a "fighter" PM Mr Trudeau says there is not a snowball chance in hell that Canada woulc become a part of the US. The NA alliance put in {not Putin) hell by Trump. #MAGA
There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that Canada would become part of the United States.
Workers and communities in both our countries benefit from being each other’s biggest trading and security partner.
Letter by former 🇺🇸 soldier bearing Jewish name&surname who exploded Musk's Cybertruck near Trump's hotel reads: “This was not a terror attack, it was a wakeup call. Americans only pay attention to violence. What better way to get my point than a stunt with fireworks&explosives,”
With a pain in our hearts, we visited and laid flowers at monument dedicated to the memory of the child victims of 1999 bombings.
Aggression against civilians, particularly children is unacceptable, all those responsible for these heinous crimes must be held accountable.
A long-overdue downfall of Assad turned streets of Damascus jubilant, forced him to flee and finally granted asylum. You may notice some parallels between ISIS/Taliban seizure of power in Mosul/Kabul and Golani`s lightining charge into Syrian capital. What is the next?
I regret that @POLITICOEurope instead of apologizing to Azerbaijan and retracting its fake news article, continues to spread disinformation to mislead the European and global public.
Meanwhile, in the article of Politico there is a reference to Azerbaijani media that official data showing that “Azerbaijan imported 141.6 million cubic meters of gas from Russia this year”
The fact you referred to is a swap operation, not an import. Such seasonal exchanges occur between neighboring states and this is normal. I regret that the article fails to differentiate between swap and import.
“The Southern Gas Corridor, which supplies EU markets, is only connected to Azerbaijani gas fields, not to the broader Azerbaijani natural gas system,” said Tim McPhie, the European Commission’s spokesperson on energy affairs.
The EU official’s statement is entirely accurate, and we are fully aligned with that.
Therefore, Azerbaijan did not import any gas from Russia in 2024. Period!
Politico is unsuccessfully searching for a black cat in a dark room while knowing that the cat is not there. There is a fitting Azerbaijani proverb: “A liar has to be chased to the end.” @politico
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - it is likely an American commentary on the Migration meeting or a trio against Brussels`s Pact. Besties of Putin. Now Global South is not mustered in Kazan, maybe inside Europe 🇪🇺
Wearing a Macron T-shirt brand, sprawling aloft in Moscow, Armenian PM Pashinyan implies that he relies on Paris. Not a head-to-head cocfighting, more likely a beagle barks at a polar bear.
