what a privilege is it is to afford a gym, buy healthy food, pay bills, have legs that walk, eyes that see, a brain that functions, work every day, and take our bodies to their full potential.
Sprezzatura and Performative Effortlessness are not the same thing. Sprezzatura is advanced confidence. It’s a concert pianist who practices scales for years and then plays with ease, delighting us with the mastery over their craft.
Performative Effortlessness is when people become obsessed with looking untouched by the world around them in order to fit in. They curate the appearance of ease while they haven’t even cultivated their own personalities or set of values.
What makes this especially grotesque is how Performative Effortlessness produces a culture where trying feels more shameful than being hollow. Earnestness reads as desperation and competence appears accidental. Even desire must look casual.
This is not Sprezzatura. It is Performative Effortlessness and a plague upon Western Civilization.
If evil were truly sexy, emotionally healthy people would envy the corrupt. They don’t.
Most genuinely healthy people look at manipulators, social climbers, sadists, and pathological liars with spiritual exhaustion. Their glamour only works on people still trying to ascend at any cost.
Decay can wear elegance like camouflage. It is still decay. The healthiest people I know are no longer impressed by cruelty performing sophistication.
@kharma_7 Because they are resting their muscles more. Your muscles are building while you are recovering. If you work out every day you are overtraining. Your muscles don't have time to recover and you will actually get weaker and lose muscle.
Good people have high levels of empathy, but once that empathy is exhausted, they switch to a state of objective observation. They see you for exactly who you are, without the filter of their love. This is why their anger feels so cold, it is the absence of the warmth you took for granted
Being above-average in intelligence and highly aware is not for the weak. their ability to read people quickly, understand the game, see through lies, and recognize Pattern makes them highly selective. that’s why they’re skilled at detachment.
Don’t get too cocky, my boy. No matter how good you are, never let them see you coming. That’s the real game. Keep yourself small when you need to. Stay quiet. Stay harmless-looking. Be the little guy they underestimate from day one. Let them overlook you, let them misread you, let them think they’ve got you figured out. Because the most dangerous man in the room is rarely the loudest one it’s the one nobody realizes is mastering the whole universe in silence.
One of the most freeing realizations in life: You are not locked into your current identity. You can change your habits, your standards, your circle, your mindset, your career, your health, your entire direction. You're allowed to wake up one day and decide to become someone new.
People who lack self-awareness are honestly scary. Some don't even realize they're haters, energy drainers, copycats, low-key watchers, or just moving out of insecurity. They really think their behavior is normal.
Sometimes you gotta remind people… I was already chosen before you arrived. Already blessed. Already building. You was an addition to the frequency, not the source of it.
