@HollywoodHandle There was never going to be a reality where 5 movies Average a 99% tomatometer it'll be interesting to see what number it stays being.
@mainmantone@SuperManDavCor@Beyondreporter1 It is true films don't live or die solely on the opinion of 400 people paid to watch movies...but it doesn't LESSEN their chances of Box Office success either.
@JulioCesarNaj13@Joefanatic23 Do people really care about Minions anymore? I'm predicting around 800m. So by that logic Supergirl will be successful cause 400m would be a modest performance.
@Cuahute43530528@SlavsFreeTalk And you know this...how...? Superman got good reviews and better holds than MoS and better Secondary markets. I liked Man Of Steel I'm not bashing it but I want to see the brand succeed more than continue the Darkseid story. ๐คท
@Cuahute43530528@SlavsFreeTalk Man of Tomorrow will probably pass BvS and then the Justice League team ups will crack a Billion or more but these shouldn't be benchmarks because Disney has a track record.
@JulioCesarNaj13@jason_breeceJB@SlavsFreeTalk Supergirl was in the same conversation as Iron Man, Thor & Cap prior to 08. She was at best a B-lister. Clayface isn't even in the same bracket. If it ends up being simply the A-Listers being the heavy hitters so be it just means smaller budgets for the nicher heroes.
@SlavsFreeTalk@LefeversJay Maybe once upon a time it was but the last 50 years since the introduction of secondary markets like Home Video and Streaming hell when TV got big bombs in theaters like It's A Wonderful Life & Wizard Of Oz got introduced to a whole new generation.
@Berkiezz@PopcornPost_ 3 is more tolerant compared to 2,4 & 5 but it's still really clunky writing even the first one has that issue but the Autobots and Decepticons were fun to watch.
