Um… Sorry I really hate doing this but I feel so lost and stuck.

I have daily migraines since covid, mixed with trigeminal and occipital neuralgias. I’ve tried every medication available in France and nothing works. France doesn’t offer CGRP treatments that are the only effective treatment that could work for me.

So… I only have one other option left for now… I don’t know if it’ll work but there’s a very well known device that helps migraines pretty miraculously, even better if it’s linked to the trigeminal nerve. But it costs A LOT… So I’ve never considered it but I’m so desperate, having 9-10/10 pain every single day and taking way too many painkillers and migraine meds by month…

So I added it to my throne just in case. I feel extremely bad for it after everything I got, but a lot of my friends here told me that they would want to help me get better treatments, even if I said that they don’t have to pay for my health, and the only CGRP I could potentially have is impossible to get here, even after seeing so many neurologists because all waiting lists are full and the injection isn’t covered by any insurances and costs 8000€ every 3 months…. so… I give up 🥹…

I can send proof about everything I’ve said, diagnosis, prescriptions, everything. Thank you so much for reading everything and sorry again for asking for so much…

can i be a little negative for a second about the donos/throne situation?

during my time here i have donated to some people, and i did without expecting anything in return because i genuinely just wanted to see them happy.
i mean, of course donating to a person doesn’t make them your friend… but some of those people literally avoid me and ignore me as if i killed their dog or something. it stings, and it makes me feel like an idiot.
i don’t have a great financial situation to begin with as my only source of income is my disability pension, so that’s why when i can i donate only to my friends. i simply would like to avoid getting my feelings hurt again.
