This is my dad when he arrived in Toronto 1952 from Germany. He did not have access to $10 a day daycare or free post secondary education. He did not speak English & was also mostly despised. He worked, went to University, became a CA and eventually the CFO of a large company.

People really need to understand that the Gripen relies solely on a US engine which will require President Trump to sign off on the sale. They also should look closely at Saab’s promises of partnering with Bombardier & creating up to 12,000 jobs. They made an identical deal with Brazil. They partnered with Embraer, they took a decade to deliver the first Gripen & created 168 FT jobs. By the end of 2025 they were supposed to have delivered 24 Gripen C/D’s. To date they have delivered 4.

We have completely lost the plot if decisions about fighter aircraft that will serve the RCAF for 40 yrs are reversed because of a 4 yr Presidency.

Canadians didn’t “hang a little back from the front lines.” They took one of the toughest missions: in Kandahar.

Virtually every NATO country suffered combat deaths, and many were in the thick of the action.

Denmark suffered the second highest level of combat deaths, per capita.
