@JomiAdeniran The 08-09 Magic only got to the Finals because Kevin Garnett had a season ending injury February of that year. It took Magic 7 games to beat Boston without KG. KG came back the next year & Boston went 3-0 on them (in 6). It was suppose to be Boston vs LA in the Finals 3 times.

@Drehbuchd Except he didn't. Lakers were down 3-2 in the Finals then Perkins got hurt in Game 6. Lakers only won due to no Perkins. That Lakers team was beatable. It was not a surprise that Mavs beat them the next year. OKC wasn't a threat until the next playoffs. Nothing tops losing to GS.
