On Friday, the Arcadia Invitational Track and Field Meet begins and is considered the best high school track and field meet in the country. It takes place at Arcadia High School.

However, the best-kept secret that will also have a strong impact on the CIFSS and CIF State Track and Field Meets is the Tiger Invitational that takes place on Friday at South Pasadena HS.

It is best referred to as the "sister event" to the Arcadia Invite. The main reason for this meet is to allow the out-of-state teams to compete in two high-level meets.

The meet has turned into a high-energy event thanks to the work done by South Pasadena HS track and field coach CB Richards. One of the reasons this event is highly regarded is the new track surface and discus ring installed several years ago.

It is expected that over 200 schools will be participating on Friday. In the past, competitors from Canada, New Zealand, and Australia have competed at the meet.

This year marks the 15th season of the Tiger Invitational. Gates will open at 9 a.m., and the meet will start at 11. https://t.co/wCJz1I7SNm will stream the event on YouTube. Expect big performances from this event.
