@FT No doubt he will shore up some wobbly backbenchers whose constituents reject any welfare reforms but I don't understand how he thinks he can possibly increase labour's vote, many of whom loaned them a vote to get rid of this sort of nonsense from the Tories.
@sales_belinda@welshroots Staggering arrogance to think this is attractive. A lot of people voted Labour as they were sick of this nonsense from the tories. I don't believe anyone that didn't vote Labour now would. It can only mean they haemorrhage vote share and only reform can benefit from that
