With just over four weeks to go until the 99th running of the iconic Comrades Marathon on Sunday, 14 June 2026, runners can now check their official Start Group and Seeding Batch allocations on the 2026 Entry List.

Seedings have been determined from fastest to slowest qualifying performances submitted for a standard marathon or equivalent longer-distance race during the qualification period.

🟪 05:00 Group 1 | Batches A–G
🟧 05:15 Group 2 | Batches H–M
🟦 05:30 Group 3 | Batches N–R

Batch H, at the front of Group 2, has been reserved for Green Number runners (10+ Comrades Marathon medals) as well as Race4Charity participants who raised more than R6000 before the 4 May deadline.

✅ All runners will still receive the full 12-hour race cut-off, with each runner’s official race time commencing when their respective Start Group begins.
