I went to a definitively leftist uni, where I was taught one of two predominate definitions of fascism. It's simply the avowed and codified confluence of government and corporate interests and I can no longer see how, by that definition, we are not already a fascist state.

I’d like to know where anyone in congress truly thinks the country is headed. The drama notwithstanding, the essential flow of money upstream continues unchecked. What happens when that starts to effect the MSNBC crowd? What happens when a few people own literally everything?

I had a young friend recently out of service make a profound statement. He claimed actual sociopaths are no where near as dangerous as a system which rewards sociopathy because as individuals they are easier to spot. A group having those qualities amplified is far more dangerous.
