In a hypnotically predictable move, The Green Women’s Declaration have been told that they make trans members feel “unsafe” and been banned from the conference.

What an abuse of the word unsafe.

* Unsafe is allowing male convicts into women’s prisons
* Unsafe is forcing women to share changing rooms with men
* Unsafe is denying women with disabilities single sex care
* Unsafe is men sharing toilets with women and girls

Women standing for their rights and holding a political party to account makes nobody unsafe. It does show who the charlatans and chancers are.

Snap out of it!

The idea that sex is assigned at birth has to be one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. How on earth did it get so widespread?

[Martina Navratilova @Martina]

wtf is right, USA TODAY???

[Sall Grover @salltweets]

Men who claim to be women are men and it’s men who have to work out how to be comfortable in a men’s space with a man in a dress. This should never have been a woman’s problem. Because men who claim to be women are men.

[Prof. Gary Francione @garylfrancione]

Being a "trans woman" means that the person claiming that status was born male. So unless someone is going to claim that biological sex changes during transition, which is absurd, the discussion about what characteristics are relevant to being a woman is silly. TiMs are, by definition, males.

I remember South African apartheid… when oppression affected men the world stopped playing .. when it only affects women, no one stops anything! 😔

[Naomi Cunningham @LoudBonnet]

Make no mistake: this where trans rights activists in the UK would like us, too. Silenced, punished, shamed, forced to affirm a repugnant, dangerous lie.

It is disgusting, and we must fight it with everything we’ve got.

👇🎯 Women are not dickless MEN!!

[Grace Hawthorn @grace_hawthorn]

@itsnwts i was a witness to a rape trial recently & in the instructions to the jury, the judge said "i ask you to remember that submission is not consent. submission is an attempt to survive with the least possible harm"
we thank all the feminist for all the work that got us here.

So how would this work exactly, Matt? Would these women also have a 2% conviction rate? Would district attorneys plea bargain 98% of false accusations down to community service and a slap on the wrist? Or would we be convicting these women at rates exponentially greater than the rates at which we convict actual rapists?

I’d also like to know what your criteria would be for determining that a rape accusation was false. Do you plan to convict every woman who makes a claim that can’t be substantiated? Because from here, this sounds like a good way to make sure that actual rape victims are too afraid to report real crimes to the police — and I’m sure that’s deliberate.

But it couldn’t be social contagion, folks. It’s just that young people, especially autistic, gay and mentally ill ones, are finally free to be their authentic selves.

The sudden explosion of young women who want to cut off their healthy breasts and take testosterone? Well, it’s absolutely not the newest form of self-harm, to which troubled adolescent girls are provably prone, ok? It’s not a consequence of the commonplace fear of becoming an adult woman, with all that that entails. No, there’s nothing to worry about there.

The possibility of regret? Naturally, we don’t let minors get tattoos or own guns or vote, because that would be ridiculous, but if they want irreversible surgeries and drug treatments, they must be given them, and everyone around them must immediately agree they are now the opposite sex. That’s called being kind.

And the mounting numbers of detransitioners? They were never trans, obviously, and should be mercilessly attacked, especially if they now say they were vulnerable and in a friendship group, online or off, dominated by trans identities, where transitioning was presented as a way to resolve all their social and emotional difficulties. (I have the emails).

No, there’s nothing whatsoever to see here. Keep justifying it, keep cheering it on, keep insisting that the doctors and drug companies making serious money out of it all are acting with the purest of motives. Answer every reasonable question with an accusation of hatred and bigotry. Dispel every qualm of conscience with an activist-approved talking point. Reassure yourself that everyone on your dinner party circuit agrees with you.

And when, in years to come, we’re all looking back on graphs like this, be proud that you did your bit to monster whistleblowers, parrot unevidenced claims and create the climate of fear that allowed the worst medical scandal in a century to take place.

[Martina Navratilova @Martina]

Fringe group. So trans is mainstream and women are a fringe group. Got it.

[Sharron Davies HoL MBE @sharrond62]

This 👇🏼… this young woman had her moment stolen from her by a male cheat with an unfair male physical advantage. It’s so bloody wrong & just modern day misogyny than no one cares enough about her feelings or opportunities.

[Jayne Towndrow @JTowndrow]

He should just stop at 'I actually don't think'.

[Martina Navratilova @Martina]

Who are these idiots??? Mansplaining what women should be feeling?? Wtaf???

[Martina Navratilova @Martina]

This guy is so right- these are the parents pushing this nonsense on kids. Every tomboy would be pushed into this if allowed to do so. FFS- let the kids grow up and then decide. Pushing gender identity on kids is criminal and irresponsible

[Allison Floyd @AllisonRFloyd]

For all the “She should’ve known better, she went to a frat house” garbage people, Gisele Pelicot was sleeping in her in bed next to her husband of nearly 50 years and was raped by dozens of men over 10 years.

Where exactly is it safe for a woman to be?

(Hint: it’s nowhere)

Retarded beyond measure

[Sarah Phillimore @SVPhillimore]

The arrests didn't pick up until after 2018. 2018 was the year when 'no debate' became the mantra, even as the Gov was consulting on plans to introduce self ID into law.

it was the year I was radicalised, after being threatened on social media for making the observation that it was not possible to change sex.

What followed was then about 5 years of the most astonishing, authoritarian lawlessness and promotion of delusion, of those in positions of power that I have ever seen in my life time - which I appreciate makes me pretty privileged.

It took millions of pounds raised via crowdfunding for various men and women to claw back rights which were unlawfully denied us. It was only because the higher and appellate courts were not captured that we managed to prevail - all the way up to the Supreme Court.

Its been an astonishing period to live through. And all this man has in response is to chuckle. But that is of course why we won. Because our opponents were essentially, very, very stupid. Because when intimidation and fear ran out, they had nothing in their tool box.

[Sarah Phillimore @SVPhillimore]

Women who are happy to share spaces with men can use unisex facilities. Single sex spaces must remain for the women who want and need them.

Sex realists, unlike gender identity ideologues, do not judge people on how they look and accept that women can look masculine and men feminine. What matters is their sex.

[Sharron Davies HoL MBE @sharrond62]

The sad truth is young women today have very little idea what female generations had to fight for… if they did they wouldn’t give it away so frivolously.
