Employment and inflation doesn’t always have to be a trade off, especially not in a very healthy economy. Unfortunately at this point, it is, thanks to monetary policy over the past 30 years and possibly longer.
Also he can’t magically deliver price stability and employment because he says so. He doesn’t even have the proper tools. He kind of gives off snake oil salesman vibes, similar to Obama, in the way he talks about the economy. And that’s ok 🙂

Fed Chair Kevin Warsh is a low level thinker on price stability and employment. That’s ok though b/c he’s would certainly not be the first. These days their jobs aren’t too hard—they would likely be automated if it weren’t so consequential.
@platinumbulls It’s low b/c gold just had a historical run up. If oil goes up 2x would there be a demand? Anyone at the gas pumps? Or you might just think that gold is just too high. These charts aren’t very useful if one is too far removed from real life econ. Correlation/causation problem

@MikhailaFuller@MagickWes When someone is doing very poorly in their health and suffering severe pain, it’s not time to talk about how great his very extreme diet has been for him, especially when you can’t know all its effects. Frankly, such a position rather low iq.
@david_parker Hardly anyone in Canada has the opportunity to earn elite income–where wealth begins to translate into power. Your “elite” can only afford a larger house, an extra vacation, a nicer car. It’s your typical big city doctor. In Canada, everyone is middle class. This ain’t America.
@EvaVlaar Unfortunately, being “European” is as simple as holding globalist papers and passports. E.g. Dutch culture/communities/civilization has more than enough issues to work on than be concerned about “Europe” issues. Step 1 would be to leave the EU.
@EvaVlaar Addressing the problem of “Europe” is far too broad when you can’t even address issues at a nation level. Globalist language talks abt broad & abstract issues like “Europe”. If you are from Netherlands, build “Europe” by first building your household & then your local community.
@annamariejanz@Dallas_Brodie@UBC Nothing is more “hate-filled” than a bunch of liberal, angry, indoctrinated 18-year-old know-it-alls who are willing to physically and verbally attack or harass someone who doesn’t share their beliefs. If you can’t grasp that, you are retarded.
I don’t know anything about oil. The one lesson I learned from 2022 was whenever oil folks start talking about “paper vs physical markets” or “paper market getting it all wrong” that it’s time to run as far away from oil as I can and take comfort that the worst is basically over.
Good morning, the Iranian regime will never agree to a deal so Trump will show them infrastructure week. I’ve taken a big hit to put on and hold a long oil position through o&g producers and USO but I think it will pay off in the end. Here’s how we are doing today:
