Science...graphic organizers... and blended learning all in one today. My students analyzed a parent, and it's offspring for similarities and differences in their inherited and learned traits.

My 3rd graders participated in a Text/Graphic Features hunt. Students had to find the features listed as well as give an explanation on how these features help us within a text.

Today, my students read an article in @Scholastic News and created their own anchor chart with a summary of the text. Students took away the skill of summarization as well as important safety measures when using online apps. @GoliadGrizzlies
