We support today's action outside Parliament, protesting the #UK Government's international aid cuts. Alongside the withdrawal of US aid, this will have a devastating impact on the #HIV response. Funding must be protected, to save lives globally and in the UK.
UK activists joined in solidarity with colleagues from Zambia, Nigeria and other affected countries.
They said: "We need a long term strategy to end reliance of the world’s poorest on these rich nations. But right now, unless these decisions are reversed lives will be lost"
These cuts aren't necessary, the government has a range of options to raise revenues for international and domestic priorities.
Instead, it has chosen to punish the poorest. It must change course #StarmersCutsKill.

Today, activists staged a die-in outside Parliament, calling on Starmer to reverse his decision to cut international aid by 40%.
These cuts will significantly impact the lives of marginalised populations around the world.
Stand with us to say that #StarmersCutsKill.
The immediate halting of funding to #PEPFAR places millions of lives in jeopardy. The IAS urgently calls on policy makers and stakeholders to restore the funding lifeline to this pivotal programme.
Lives depend on it, right now.

The lovely Daisy, "a silly goose in a sparkly bra, unbothered and unashamed of my #HIV status!", was one of the stars of our #DragRaise event this summer.
She chatted with @AttitudeMag about drag, living with HIV and working with us.

Our work creates real, tangible changes in the daily lives of people living or affected by #HIV, but we can only do this with your support.
Can you donate today and join the fight for HIV rights this #WorldAIDSDay?

In October #EqualHIVFertilityRights became law in the #UK!
In the coming weeks, LGBT+ people living with HIV, like Alan, will be able to donate their eggs and sperm and become parents if they wish, ending decades of discrimination.

"If you haven’t been tested, get tested. But if you’re not living with #HIV, you’re not going to get it from me or any of us. Stop stigmatizing, stop singling us out." Alan Spink, a @NAT_AIDS_Trust supporter told @SceneLGBTQ ahead of #WorldAIDSDay.

The @HouseofCommons has just passed #EqualHIVFertilityRights!
The legislation will be debated later today in the @UKHouseofLords. Thank you @GwynneMP for taking the right steps to end this unjust barrier for LGBT+ people living with #HIV who wish to be parents.
