I dunno maybe I’m too used to seeing people getting into whatever is currently popular or trending. Or maybe the Godzilla drought of 2004 - 2014 made me have this mentality of “it’s surprising to see other people into Godzilla”. Am I overthinking this?

As a life long Godzilla fan I’m still a bit shocked to see how some people say this given how most people I’ve seen never do the typical slander with Godzilla fans like “ew it’s a (inert thing) fan” or whatever, but then again I suppose that’s with everything really.
