Very pleased that Barrett Steel will represent local business on the Pride in Place Board.
Together, we can make sure this once-in-a-generation investment delivers skills, apprenticeships, good jobs and real opportunities for the people of Holme Wood!
I've been out with the Wibsey & Odsal team this morning speaking to residents around Bankfoot, we've been speaking about important local issues including antisocial behaviour and fireworks.
It's been a lovely morning out and about with our hard-working Great Horton ward councillors and the local Labour team speaking to people in Lidget Green and Scholemoor.
Thanks to everyone who chatted!
A pleasure to help launch @BradfordCollege's brand-new Future Tech Centre at Junction Mills, making Bradford a UK hub for training on electric, hybrid and hydrogen car technology.
I can't wait to see what skills will be developed, careers launched and futures transformed here!
Good to meet @CalvinBailey, Minister for Veterans, to discuss work of @BradfordBulls and the Dog & Gun Veterans Group supporting those who served and Armed Forces families. I urged continued support for veterans, families & bereaved, and hope to welcome him to Bradford South soon
Always a pleasure to catch up with the team and customers at the busy Storehouse!
Good to see James and see how the space is going from strength to strength, and catch up with the wonderful Kayle from United Arts who was making craft flowers with children and young people.
As a patron of this charity, I am so pleased that we have reached the stage of selecting a sculptor for a statue in honour of the matchgirls. Please visit their website to learn more about these inspiring girls and women, and their place in trade union history.
I'm very sad to hear of the passing of Sir Billy Boston. My thoughts are with his family, friends and loved ones. From his incredible career with Wigan to becoming the first Black player to represent Great Britain on a Lions tour, Billy broke barriers and inspired generations.
Post Office services are a lifeline to many people, and I am pleased after campaigning for nine months that the Tong Steet branch is finally back open right in the heart of the community.
Best wishes and a warm welcome to new postmaster Rizwan!

Pleased that Bradford amongst first to benefit. Local people have had to put up with blight of waste crime for far too long. There is no place for organised waste criminals in Bradford South, and I will work with @TracyBrabin to ensure these new powers are used to fullest extent.
Good luck to everyone getting their GCSE exam results today!
While results aren't everything, today should be a celebration of your hard work ahead of exciting new chapters in September!
I am working alongside our Mayor @TracyBrabin and Police to deliver West Yorkshire Vision Zero which aims to prevent traffic fatalities and serious injuries
๐ I have long supported action on dangerous driving, including being a leading voice in the campaign for tougher sentences for those who cause death by dangerous driving.
