The leftist establishment will immediately deploy their standard defense mechanism. They will claim the problem is a lack of funding. They will demand more tax dollars, more empathy, and more bureaucratic task forces. This argument collapses under the weight of its own historical failure. The money is there. It has been poured into the system by the billions.

Where does it actually go? It vanishes into a parasitic web of non-profit industrial complexes, bloated government agencies, and highly paid consultants who have a vested financial interest in never actually solving the crisis. If the problem disappears, their funding disappears. The progressive machine has successfully monetized human suffering. They have built an empire of administrative overhead while leaving the poorest among us with absolutely nothing.

This is the ultimate triumph of the left. They weaponize compassion to extract wealth from the middle class, fuel their own political apparatus, and deliver zero results for the people they claim to protect. It is a ruthless grift, and it is destroying our cities from the inside out.
