@Racing Racing fans are always hilarious with the outrage on this sort topic. The idea that a horse "deserves" to be retired because of its success is so backwards. If you think its cruel to race an 8yo then the amount of success its had should make no difference to you being against it

@MitchellBazley Too many people put too much stock into a horse putting in a good final 100m after doing no work the rest of the race being held up. Of course those horses are going to look to be going the best at that point but very questionable how much actual difference it makes on a result
