@Saints504_@whoelsebutme87 Yeah we forgot he did that by himself. What about the year before that when he was playing like a scrub? You know, before the stacked roster…
@JaguarGator9NFL Joe Burrow isn’t shit without a room full of top 10 WRs. Joe Burrow couldn’t do half the shit Daniels did to even keep LSU relevant that year.
@_KellKeez Tom also suffers from his movies largely being nothing more than setup stories for the bigger events in the MCU. Who does a Peter Parker story with no Uncle Ben? Outside of NWH (had all 3 spidermen) the movies had virtually little to no stakes.
@_pernell_@eternalIsun 3 iterations across 10 movies in 24 years at that. They literally don’t give you time to miss the character. If they want to keep the Spider-Man IP alive for a lot longer Peter Parker is going to have to take a backseat eventually.
@MySportsUpdate Now his ass should’ve known they were never going to treat him with the same respect they give to Joe Burrow. It’s Louisiana, Joe Burrow didn’t even need to win a championship for that.
@r1ndie Because they are that good. His movies aren’t just the best Spider-Man movies they are some of the best superhero movies of all time critically.
@Visionary_Mike He is. 20 years later and he’s still largely the face of the character of Spider-Man. Not everything has to be a think piece. He was great as Spider-Man and his movies were the best written and produced so he became an icon. Being a contrarian isn’t going to change anything.
@lockedupjb I just think he was tired of constantly moving and the teams he wanted to go to didn’t want him. It’s not that deep. Unless you’re a contender it’s no point in adding him to your team because he’s still a high usage player that only gives role player production now.
@RealFamilyCrete The “hate” is more like disappointment that it wasn’t as good as the first two. On its own it’s still a top 15 Marvel superhero movie.
@CuffsTheLegend Loss of elusiveness and verticality to create looks. He never added more arc to his shot which would’ve compensated for loss of verticality. Dude still shot straight fast balls.
@norasburrito Characters that are part of the MCU just get more grace and are seen as official. It also didn’t help that the movies were cut short at 2 unlike its predecessor. Mediocre films in the MCU get more grace because the MCU itself is viewed as one big story.
@YellowFlashGuy Doubt it. I see this being the final game of this specific Spider-Man storyline. If they make more it will likely be to explore their own version of the Spider-Verse or a complete reboot. Both have their own game and they will share two ending the trilogy. Hope Im wrong though.
@kawhi_ring I feel like it was more of a prequel story for Jean than it was a Spider-Man story. There was no real stakes involved, and ultimately all we got out of it was a rebooted X-Man origin story. Everything else became secondary. Definitely not a movie I would rewatch.
@Gillie2kstone@airoderinde 95% of the player base is over 10 million people. You couldn’t possibly play all of those people anyway. Even the most hardcore sweats only plays with/against roughly 30k different people across thousands of my player games and SBMM is there for player retention, not your ego.
