Official trailer for The Final Fight is here! Has been inspiring to watch Todd bring this story to life. He’s truly an amazing, versatile individual, and the fact this is based on his real story makes it that much more powerful. Outstanding work from the entire team, cast & crew-
Kojima marked the 32nd anniversary of Policenauts by explaining why the game took so long to make despite the story being finished extremely early.
No official English release. Fans put out a full translation patch in 2016 that makes Policenauts playable today via emulation.
"POLICENAUTS," I wrote the concept and built the entire text-based adventure portion myself using a simplified scripting language. By the end of 1990, I had essentially completed almost everything from the opening through to the ending. After that, however, I was transferred to a department focused on technical R&D rather than game production. Since it wasn't a team responsible for developing titles, I wasn't assigned any staff, graphics, custom programming, and music couldn't move forward. I somehow tried to keep the project alive saying “creating a sample game in order to develop a game engine and production pipeline for adventure games."
Then, all the sudden, we were tasked with developing the PC Engine CD-ROM version of "SNATCHER." The lab's objective was to have the team take on the challenge of developing for the then-uncharted CD-ROM format. Around 1992, when the PC Engine version of "SNATCHER" was completed and released, the PC adventure game market underwent a dramatic shift. Adult adventure games such as "Dōkyūsei" and "Kakyūsei" emerged, quickly dominating the market and becoming a boom that was impossible to ignore. So the PC version of "POLICENAUTS" was inevitably caught up in that wave as well.
Closest thing to a “del Toro game” is P.T. (2014). Was a free playable teaser he co-directed with Hideo Kojima. Was widely praised as one of the scariest & most innovative horror experiences of its time, but the full game was canceled by Konami and P.T. is now largely lost media
Catching skin cancer early is a home robotics problem.
Melanoma is highly treatable when detected early, yet today’s screening process depends heavily on patients noticing tiny changes across their entire skin surface. This requires patients to solve a near-impossible visual-memory and registration problem.
I built OpenDerm, an open-source 4-DOF robot that captures high-resolution images of the skin and uses them to reconstruct and track the skin surface in 3D over time.
The best way to make skin screening truly routine is to bring it into the home. OpenDerm shows that inexpensive robotic skin imaging is possible, but the path to scale is not a dedicated screening robot in every household—it is to make skin screening one of the many useful things a general-purpose home robot can do.

Comparing aging to rabies is dramatic but counterproductive. People should recognize the time we’re in and understand we’re living through early days of longevity science. You shouldn't fear aging, but you should rage against it (like Dylan Thomas).
In 2016, President Obama called me the second most dangerous man in the world. My offense was simple. I was advising Candidate and then President-Elect Donald J. Trump on national security policy.
This led to the initiation of Operation Crossfire Razor in the summer of 2016 (during the campaign), before I held any official position or served as National Security Advisor.
As the senior national security campaign advisor with thirty-three years in uniform and former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, I was targeted for my knowledge and fierce independence.
The Steele dossier, FISA warrants, and coordinated surveillance were all intended to undermine my credibility and reputation before I could serve our country.
@RealSLokhova faced similar treatment, being falsely accused as a Russian agent (a complete lie), while I ended up being prosecuted on unfounded charges (all of which were eventually dismissed for egregious government misconduct).
Both myself and Ms. Lohkova were seen as obstacles. This is what happens when a weaponized intelligence community, Justice Department, and the most senior law enforcement apparatus decide a presidential election outcome is unacceptable (can you say coup d’etat).
I strongly encourage you to read "The Grand Conspiracy" to review the most comprehensive and readable documented record of Crossfire Hurricane (eg., Russia-Gate).
