Countless members of parliament, public servants and staffers past and present will be deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Lupco 'Luch' Jonceski.
Luch was a true legend of Parliament House. In a place that can sometimes feel vast, impersonal and combative, he was always friendly, warm and helpful. He treated everyone with respect and was respected by all in turn.
For four decades, Luch performed his vital role to the highest standard with the utmost professionalism. Yet he was every bit as quick with a kind word or a joke to lift your spirits and put you at ease.
Luch was a great servant of Australian democracy and a wonderful human being.
On behalf of the nation and Parliament Luch served, I offer our love and sympathy to his family and friends.
May he rest in eternal peace.
It was exciting to join my friend @AlboMP and the Labor team for the @AustralianLabor campaign launch in Perth.
Wishing them the very best of luck over the next three weeks.

Thank you for the meeting President @WilliamsRuto. I enjoyed the opportunity to discuss ways to improve health outcomes and celebrate the 60-year partnership between @wellcometrust and the @GovtOfKenya.
Kenya and Wellcome Trust, an international charitable organisation dedicated to improving health through research, have had a 60-year partnership that has been mutually beneficial.
The organisation works with Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) in a programme that focuses on fighting malaria, pneumonia, meningitis, HIV and malnutrition.
Met Dr @JuliaGillard, the chair of Wellcome Trust and former Prime Minister of Australia, State House, Nairobi. She is in Kenya for the celebration of 60 years of Kenya-Wellcome Trust partnership.
Congratulations to @Keir_Starmer and the @UKLabour team - it is always an honour to lead one’s nation.
The people of the United Kingdom have emphatically voted for change and progress, and I look forward to seeing all that is achieved.
